- A-2 Air Clamps
Versatile low capacity air clamp (up to 300 lbs) for testing finer materials such as tissue, fine fabrics, films, paper and similar products. Air-actuated anvils with a variety of finish options allows for consistent grip pressure during testing, eliminating inconsistent sample treatment by multiple operators.
- A-22 Air Clamps
Versatile ultra-low capacity air clamp (up to 25 lbs) for testing very fine or delicate materials such as tissue, fine fabrics, films, paper and similar products. Air-actuated anvils with a variety of finish options allows for consistent grip pressure during testing, eliminating inconsistent sample treatment by multiple operators.
A-400 Cord Clamps
Designed specifically for fine diameter products like fishing line, twine, string, cord, wire and other round diameter samples. The “horn” structure allows for quick and accurate sample loading (with capacities to 500 lbs) and distributes the load to avoid jaw breaks and other errors common with fine diameter samples.
One of the most popular and versatile clamps in materials properties testing, the A-420 air clamp is in wide use in the textiles and fabric industry and is specified in a wide variety of ASTM procedures for cloths, fabrics and textiles. It’s high tensile capacity (up to 750 lbs) and variety of anvil options and finishes make this clamp extremely versatile in many industries.
A-520 AIR Clamps
The A-520 AIR clamps are another widely popular clamp in use in many industries. Similar to the A420, but with a double lever action and lower capacity (up to 200 lbs), this clamp also has many anvil configurations for use on a wide variety of sample types and shapes.
Spruance Cord Clamps
Similar in function to the A-400 clamp, the Spruance clamp was made for very low tensile strength samples (less than 75 lbs) while still allowing for the same benefits as the A-400.
