C - Series Clamps
C series clamps are a manual clamp
solution designed specifically to hold
rubber and other materials that shrink as
they elongate. The self tightening rollers
continue to firmly grasp the sample during
testing.

Z - Series Clamps
Another popular self tightening clamp
designed for the American Chemical
society, this clamp is widely used for
general rubber testing, gums and stocks.

Ring Test Spools
Ring Test Spools are used for testing round
products such as o-rings, elastics and other
looped products. This model offers a
revolving spool so that the sample remains
centered and tension is evenly dispersed
for accurate results.

Peel And Adhesion Fixtures
PTES has a full line of peel and adhesion
fixtures for use in a variety of bonding and
peeling tests. The Scott Lord Adhesion
Fixture, designed for ASTM Method D-429, is
still in wide use for evaluating rubber to
metal bonding strength. Other models
available for 90 degree and 180 degree
peels.

Plastometers
PTES still manufactures the P-4
Plastometer, an inexpensive and widely
used fixture for testing plasticity and
recovery times of various rubber stocks.
Designed to conform to ASTM Method D-926
this fixture is an inexpensive and reliable
fixture for many materials.

ASTM Dies And Padding
Dies and cutting supplies are an important
part of rubber and plastics testing. PTES
offers a full selection of dies, presses, pads
and other supplies for making dumbell
samples as referenced in ASTM D-412 as
well as other standards and shapes.
