PTES offers a wide variety of clamping
system for use in the wire and cable
industry from the finest wires to large solid
cable. Our large offering allows us to match
up clamps to your exact products, ensuring
it holds the sample securely for accurate
results.

X- Series Clamps
Many of the models in our X series clamps
are capable of holding very fine wires up to
75 lbs. The file inserts and file knurling
offers secure holding power on very thin
wire.

Wedge Wire Clamps
PTES offers several models of heavy duty
manual clamps for large diameter wires
with break strengths as high as 2,000 lbs.
Several models also come with sets of
anvils to accomodate many wire
diameters. This maximizes budget dollars
by allowing one set of clamps to do the
work of many.

Other Clamp Styles
PTES has a variety of specific clamp designs
to meet the needs of particular tests.

Our Bureau Of Standards clamps are widely
used to test wire insulation.

Our Fletcher Wire clamps also were
designed for fine wire.

The Jute Wire and Spino Wire series clamps
handle higher forces and allow for quick
testing where elongation is not a
consideration.

The newly added SCW-1 clamps are a
versatile clamp for testing wire and wire
insulation in a vaeriety of diameters all
with the same clamp. The SCW-1 is an
example of PTES engineering clamps to
meet specific customer needs. When the
samples provided would not stay properly
gripped we designed a new clamp that met
the customer's testing and budget
requirements.
