PTES Textile And Fabric Products

The textile and fabric industry
encompasses a wide range of products,
from basic textiles and fabrics to woven
materials, webbing, sailcloth, leather,
paper and many other products. PTES
carries a full line of clamps and fixtures for
use in these industries. Many of these
products were designed for and are
referenced in ASTM procedures in use
today.

A - Series Manual Clamps
PTES stocks a full line of clamps for the
industry. It's A series manual clamps
handle a variety of material thicknesses
and forces as high as 500 lbs. A variety of
anvil options ensures that your sample is
properly held during th tests. Thes clamps
are commonly used on fabric, paper,
leather, webbing, duck, tape, etc.

X - Series Manual Clamps
The X series clamps offer options for use
testing cords, twines and other similar
materials with force ranges to about 150
lbs.

Other ManualClamps
PTES also offers other clamp styles for
heavier materials such as yarn and cord
with break strength approaching 2000 lbs.

Air Clamps
PTES also manufactures air clamps for use
in the textile industry such as the industry
standard A-420 clamps, the Spruance Cord
clamps and other models.

Burst Fixtures
Another common application in the fabric
industry is burst testing. PTES makes
several models of burst fixtures in both
manual and pneumatic configurations. The
Scott "W" style ball burst fixture is
referenced in numerous ASTM standards.
